CucumberCucumbers in Thailand are really small, about the length of a finger. They’re also really sweet and don’t taste watery like the larger ones in the West. If you can’t find Thai cucumbers, regular ones will do, but adjust the recipe. Cucumbers should be stored in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.

Storage: Store cucumbers sealed in the refrigerator. When they start getting soft and wrinkled, they’re too old.
